Rodolfo Daniel Lima obituary, death, Fatal Shooting of Rodolfo Daniel Lima by Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies Under Investigation
A deadly incident occurred early Saturday morning in Crossville, Tennessee, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Rodolfo Daniel Lima. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which took place at a residence on the 100 block of Scott Creek Road.
According to preliminary reports, Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the location in response to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they encountered Lima standing in the driveway, armed with a handgun.
Despite repeated orders to drop his weapon, Lima allegedly refused to comply and fired his weapon in the direction of the deputies. In response, one of the deputies discharged their firearm, striking Lima, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The TBI is conducting a comprehensive investigation into the incident, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing the sequence of events leading up to the fatal shooting.
