Andrew Mueller, a cherished resident of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 68. His unexpected death has left a deep sorrow in the hearts of his family, friends, and the broader community. Andrew was a man known for his integrity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those around him. His passing marks the loss of a devoted family member, a hardworking professional, and a friend to all who knew him.
Born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 10, 1956, Andrew was the son of the late Harold and Clara Mueller. He grew up in the area and attended Assumption High School, where he was an active participant in sports and community activities. After graduating, Andrew went on to work in various trades, ultimately becoming a well-respected employee at Consolidated Papers, where he worked for over 30 years until his retirement.
Known for his strong work ethic, Andrew was highly regarded by his colleagues and supervisors alike. His reliability and willingness to lend a helping hand were qualities that earned him the respect of everyone around him. Andrew’s greatest pride and joy, however, was his family. He married his high school sweetheart, Susan Johnson, in 1978, and together they raised two children, Eric and Emily.
Andrew was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family’s needs above his own. He loved spending time with his children and later, his grandchildren, sharing his love for the outdoors, fishing, and camping. His infectious sense of humor and warm-hearted nature made him a beloved figure within the family, and he was known for his ability to make everyone feel special and valued.
In addition to his family, Andrew was deeply involved in his community. He volunteered for local charity events, helped with youth sports teams, and spent countless hours working to improve his neighborhood. He was a man who believed in giving back, and his contributions to the Wisconsin Rapids community were many.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Susan, his children Eric (Sarah) Mueller and Emily (David) Walker, and his five grandchildren, as well as his brother, John Mueller, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on November 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with a visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association in Andrew’s memory.
Andrew Mueller’s life may have been cut short, but his legacy of love, generosity, and dedication will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
