Logan Arnold death (1995-2024): A Life of Love, Kindness, and Creativity

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Logan Todd Arnold, age 29, who was called to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. A cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, Logan’s life was a blessing to all who knew him, and his memory will remain in the hearts of those he touched.

Family and Legacy

Logan leaves behind his devoted mother, Cyndi Akins; father, Eddie Arnold, and his wife, Jennifer Arnold; his sister, Leslie Arnold; stepsister Jasmin; and stepbrother Jaxston. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Sarah Akins and Judy Greene; his aunt, Cheryl Watts, and her husband, Brian Watts; his uncles, Scott Akins, Todd Akins, and his wife, Jill, Steve Arnold, and Kim Lefever; as well as great-aunts Angie Bradshaw and Glenna Brooks.

Logan’s legacy of love and kindness continues through his cousins: Stella Akins, Liam Akins, Ross Watts, Raegan Watts, Savannah Akins, Brooklyn Igims, and many other extended family members and dear friends.

Life and Pursuits

Logan was known for his extraordinary work ethic and a heart full of generosity. From a young age, he demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility and a genuine desire to help others. He was inspired by the role models in his life and aspired to emulate their hard work and integrity.

Logan’s dedication and selflessness defined his character, and while his passion for work contributed to his untimely passing, it was also a reflection of his love for serving others and pursuing what he cared about.

Creativity and Interests

Creativity was a cornerstone of Logan’s life. An exceptionally talented artist, he expressed himself through drawing, painting, and woodcrafting, creating pieces that left lasting impressions on those who saw them.

His artistic endeavors were matched by his enthusiasm for other pursuits, including earning his 2nd-degree black belt in martial arts under the mentorship of Arthur Ferguson, a source of great pride. Logan also found joy in playing football and riding dirt bikes with friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter and adventure.

Faith and Values

Logan’s faith in Jesus Christ was central to his life. His devotion to learning and growing in his faith brought him closer to the Lord and provided him with strength and purpose. Supported by his family and church community, Logan’s journey of faith was a shining testament to his values of love, compassion, and service.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Logan’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church in Lenoir. Pastor Dave Melton and former Youth Minister Aaron Horn will lead the service. Family and friends are invited to gather in the sanctuary from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service. A private burial for family will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park, where Logan will be laid to rest.
