Among his survivors are his daughter Robin and her husband Todd Fanning, who reside in Stephenville; his son Tommy and his wife Vicky Shelton, who also reside in Stephenville; his grandchildren Bruce Shelton, Dondra and her husband Cody Bedwell, and their children Kinley and Karsyn Bedwell; Branda and her husband Shelby Jones; and BJ and his husband Quincy Hough; his siblings Helen Sapaugh, Lynn and her husband Penny Shelton, Joe and his wife Sheila Shelton, Ann and her husband Carlisle Clement, and Debbie Roberts, all of Sulphur Springs; his former wife Martha Shelton; and a number of nieces and nephews Additionally, Tommy’s wife, Carolyn Dickens Shelton, as well as his brother-in-laws, Wendell Sapaugh and Gary Roberts, passed away before him. His parents were also among those who passed away before him.
