Justin’s journey in ministry began after completing his undergraduate studies at Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education.
He then pursued his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School, where he was admitted and later earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Erskine Theological Seminary. His dissertation focused on the significance of Christian community and the unity of the church, a topic that was close to his heart.
Throughout his ministry, Justin served with passion and enthusiasm, inspiring countless individuals to deepen their faith and understanding of the body of Christ.
He was particularly dedicated to helping others recognize the power and importance of Christian community. Justin also enjoyed celebrating the church’s traditions in innovative and culturally relevant ways, making him a beloved figure among his congregation.
Beyond his ministerial duties, Justin cherished his family and loved spending time on his farm in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, with his wife Jenny and their two children, Meakin and Griffin.
As the news of his passing spreads, the community is coming together to support Justin’s family, loved ones, and church during this incredibly difficult time. His family will announce funeral arrangements and obituary details at a later date.
