COMMUNITY MOURNS THE LOSS OF VAN ALLEN, OWNER OF VAN’S OUTDOORS AND PROCESSING – A Legacy of Passion for Firearms, Fishing, and Hunting Lives On

The community is grieving the sudden passing of Van Allen, the beloved owner of Van’s Outdoors and Processing, who left this world on Thursday, November 14, at the age of 64. Van Allen’s dedication to promoting a love for firearms, fishing, and hunting in his community will be deeply missed.

Over the course of nearly three decades, Van’s Outdoors and Processing has been a staple in the town, transforming deer meat into a variety of popular products. Van Allen’s passion and expertise have inspired countless individuals to embrace the great outdoors.

Victoria Marie, a close family friend, shared a heartfelt tribute: “Van Allen has known me since the day I was born. My whole family, including myself, have all worked for him or with him at some point. As a little girl, I remember his first day open as just a deer processing in the little building that is known as ‘Greenfield Medical’. I basically lived in all his buildings growing up, and we’ve all always called each other family. This loss hits a little hard. Prayers for everyone affected by his loss.”

The community is coming together to support Van Allen’s family during this difficult time. His legacy will continue to inspire and uplift others, ensuring that his passion for the outdoors lives on.

Please join in offering thoughts and prayers to Van Allen’s loved ones as they navigate this challenging time. His impact on the community will never be forgotten.
