The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office reported that Juan Antonio Alvarado Saenz, 38, and Cecilia Robles Ochoa, 39, were found deceased in their home on Halloween night, victims of a tragic altercation that escalated into fatal violence.
FATAL DISPUTE
Deputies were alerted to the scene after a 911 call at approximately 6:05 p.m. on October 31, reporting a shooting at a residence in the 4700 block of Olympia Way. Upon arrival, authorities discovered the bodies of Saenz and Ochoa in the kitchen area. The couple’s 11-year-old child made the grim discovery and called 911 to alert authorities.
AUTOPSY REVEALS MULTIPLE INJURIES
An autopsy revealed that Alvarado Saenz suffered multiple stab wounds to his chest, while Robles Ochoa had sustained both gunshot and stab wounds. Investigators found a pistol and a knife at the scene, both of which appear to have been involved in the incident. The gun was later identified as a stolen weapon that had gone missing from Alvarado Saenz’s place of employment.

The sheriff’s office suggested that evidence from the scene indicates both individuals may have engaged in mutual violence, though officials were unable to identify a primary aggressor.
