EU SEBIO SOLIS, COCOA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC DIRECTOR, PASSES AWAY AT 46
Cocoa, FL – The Brevard County community is mourning the loss of Eusebio Solis, the athletic director at Cocoa High School, who passed away on November 2 at the age of 46. Solis was a dedicated educator and coach who spent over 18 years serving Brevard Public Schools.
Solis’s passion for athletics and education led him to hold various roles throughout his career. He taught Spanish for nine years and served as athletic director for nine years at Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School. Additionally, he coached varsity baseball for seven years, leading the team to three consecutive district championship games, two runners-up, and one district championship. His leadership and dedication resulted in three consecutive trips to the regional tournament, a first in school history.
In July, Solis was appointed athletic director at Cocoa High School, a position he held until his passing. His promotion was a testament to his hard work and commitment to the students and athletes he served.
Solis’s impact on the lives of countless students, athletes, and colleagues will not be forgotten. His legacy will continue to inspire and motivate future generations.
