It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of KCEN 6 News’ Evening Anchor, Kris Radcliffe, who died unexpectedly on Wednesday.
His family has requested privacy during this difficult time.

Kris joined KCEN in 2002, dedicating 22 years to the station.
He began his career as a sports anchor, showcasing his passion for athletics and local teams.
Over the years, he transitioned into the role of morning anchor for “Texas Today,” where his warm personality and engaging storytelling won the hearts of viewers.
Most recently, he served as the evening anchor, delivering the latest headlines and breaking news during the 6 News broadcasts at 5, 6, and 10.
Kris was known not only for his professionalism but also for his ability to connect with the audience on a personal level.
He brought a unique blend of empathy and insight to his reporting, making him a trusted voice in the community.
