A three-month manhunt came to an end with the arrest of 17-year-old Adiah Roberson in North Texas. She was wanted for the murder of 33-year-old Daniel Shrewsbury, a fast-food restaurant manager in Bexar County. U.S. Marshals confirmed that Roberson was apprehended without resistance on Tuesday, October 22, at around 1:30 p.m. near Pleasant Drive and C F Hawn Freeway Frontage Road in Dallas.
Roberson faced charges of forgery of a government document in addition to the murder charge. The fatal incident occurred on July 7 at a Sonic Drive-In located in the 5500 block of Babcock Road in San Antonio. According to reports, San Antonio police responded to a shooting at the Sonic, where they found Shrewsbury unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest.
