Robert George Roberts Obituary, Death – A 68-year-old man died following a crash early Monday morning on Interstate 95 South.
According to police, the incident occurred at 3 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, when a 2020 black Cadillac XT6 SUV was traveling southbound on I-95.
The vehicle veered off the road to the right, struck a ditch, went airborne, and collided with trees on the driver’s side.
The SUV then overturned and came to a stop in an upright position. Emergency responders extricated the driver, who was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the crash.
Police identified the driver as Robert George Roberts, 68, of Chandler, Arizona. Officials stated that speed and alcohol were contributing factors, and the investigation is ongoing.
