Willie “Blackie” Borden III, a well-liked member of the Mount Holly community, tragically passed away on September 10, 2024, as a result of a horrific vehicle accident. Blackie, as he was fondly called, was known for his kind and engaging attitude, which never failed to put a smile on the faces of those around him.

Family and friends have been left with a profound gap in their hearts as a result of his demise. Blackie is survived by his four elder siblings, CeCe, Eddie, Toni, and William, all of whom he held in the highest regard. Their mother, Georgianna, passed away before him.

Edward Jester, his brother, has organized a fundraising event to assist in providing Blackie with a memorial ceremony that is fitting and appropriate. The family is reaching out to the community to generate money to pay the expenses associated with the funeral, with a target of $10,000.

Edward conveyed the tremendous feeling of loss that the family is going through and the need for assistance to celebrate Blackie’s life. He assured everyone that there is no such thing as an insignificant contribution and urged everyone in the community, including family and friends, to come together in prayer and support at this very trying time.

We offer our most sincere sympathies to Willie “Blackie” Borden III’s family and friends. May they find solace and serenity in the memories they have of Blackie, and may his spirit continue to live on through the love that he shared with everyone who knew him.

To the Borden family, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. In this time of loss, may Blackie rest in peace, and may those who were closest to him find the fortitude to make it through.

We will continue to keep the Borden family in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time, and we hope they find solace in the love and support that surrounds them.

May Blackie’s memory be a blessing to all who knew him, and may his spirit continue to inspire others to live a life of purpose and compassion. His legacy will never be forgotten, and his impact will continue to be felt for generations to come.
