Hermine’s life was marked by extraordinary fortitude and dedication. After losing her spouse, Nazar Kazanjian, shortly after their arrival in Fresno in December 1983, she demonstrated remarkable strength by dedicating her life to providing for her family. Her successful and enduring career as a seamstress spanned various department stores, and her life was characterized by a steadfast dedication to the welfare of those around her.

She is survived by her two children, three grandchildren, and extended family, who will always cherish her radiant smile, compassion, and generosity.
Kristina Kordoghlanian has organized a fundraiser in honor of Hermine to provide assistance to families in Lebanon, a cause that was particularly meaningful to her. Although she was unable to return to her homeland, her aspiration was always to provide aid to those in need. The fundraiser aims to raise $500, with all proceeds being donated to families in Lebanon.
The family and community are left with a profound vacancy in their souls as a result of Hermine’s departure. May her memory be a source of blessing, and may her spirit continue to thrive through the acts of compassion she inspired.
