Paul Carrol Obituary: A Life of Joy, Perseverance, and Love

The community is deeply saddened by the loss of Paul Carrol, a cherished husband, father, and friend, who tragically passed away on August 25, 2024.

Paul’s infectious spirit, boundless love, and extensive knowledge of cars made him a beloved figure in Horry County’s automotive scene.

His death has left his family and the community heartbroken, and they are now seeking help to bring him home for a proper farewell.

Paul was well-known by many who worked in local automotive shops or raced at the circle track.

Despite his long battle with diabetes and the loss of both his legs, Paul remained a beacon of joy and perseverance.

His dedication to providing for his family, even in the face of adversity, was an inspiration to all who knew him.

His passing has left a significant emotional and financial void in the lives of his loved ones.

To support the family during this challenging time, Jillian Adams has organized a fundraiser with a goal of $2,500 to cover the costs of cremation and a small memorial service.

So far, the community has raised $300, with contributions from Hope Harrah, Jillian Adams, and Craigory Watford.

Any additional funds raised will go directly toward supporting Paul’s family, as he was the sole provider for his household.
