Gabe Harvey Obituary: Devoted Health Unit Coordinator Tragically Loses Life in Park Tavern Accident
Gabe Harvey, a dedicated health unit coordinator at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Missouri, tragically lost his life in a devastating accident at the Park Tavern.
The crash occurred when an SUV veered onto the tavern’s patio, where Harvey and several colleagues had gathered to celebrate a fellow nurse’s final ICU shift.
Gabe Harvey, who was also pursuing a nursing degree, was known for his commitment to healthcare and his vibrant, caring personality.
At the time of the accident, Harvey was among several nurses attending the event. The collision claimed not only Harvey’s life but also that of Kristina Folkerts, a Park Tavern waiter.
In addition to Harvey and Folkerts, the crash resulted in serious injuries to Theo Larson, who suffered multiple fractures to his skull, face, and orbit; Tegan D’Albani, who sustained extensive fractures and numerous traumatic injuries; and Laura Knutsen, who also faced severe fractures and traumatic injuries.
All three are receiving medical treatment. Harvey’s passing has left a profound impact on his community.
He was remembered as a person with a warm smile, a kind word for everyone, and an ability to make those around him feel noticed and valued.
His partner, Denzel, and Gabe had recently bought a house together and were in the process of settling into their new home.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support Gabe’s family with living and funeral expenses. The fundraiser has so far raised over $31,000 of its $75,000 goal.
