Mary Linda Fain, a cherished member of the community, has tragically passed away in a house fire that occurred on Friday at her residence in the 1400 block of East Kings Highway.

The Caddo Coroner’s Office has identified Fain as the victim of the devastating incident, which also claimed the lives of her numerous pets.

Fain lived in the house with her beloved animals, and sadly, she and several of them did not survive the fire.

The fire originated in a bedroom and quickly spread to the attic, causing significant fire and smoke damage to the front of the house.

Her passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew her, and the community is coming together to support her family and friends during this difficult time.

As the investigation continues, the community is reminded of the importance of fire safety and the need to take precautions to prevent such tragedies from occurring.
