Michael Kenneth Mowry III Obituary, Death – Unsolved Murder of New Hampshire Teenager Sparks Public Appeal for Information
Investigators are seeking public assistance in solving the unsolved murder of 19-year-old Michael Kenneth Mowry III, who was found shot to death in his bedroom in Rochester, New Hampshire, in 2020.
The New Hampshire Attorney General, John Formella, made a public appeal on Monday for any information that could help resolve the case, which occurred during the Labor Day weekend of 2020.
Mowry was discovered dead in his home at 64 Monroe Drive, Apartment 1, on Sunday, August 30, 2020, after a home invasion robbery carried out by four masked men.
The shooting was reported to 911 at approximately 3:15 a.m., and when police arrived at the scene, Mowry had already succumbed to a gunshot wound to the neck, as determined by the autopsy.
The manner of death was ruled as homicide, and despite interviewing other young residents who lived with Mowry at the time, authorities do not consider them suspects.
Investigators have recently disclosed that they have identified a vehicle used by the masked assailants to flee the scene and believe that the individuals responsible for Mowry’s murder may have connections to Haverhill, Massachusetts, or the greater Merrimack Valley area.
Mowry’s tragic death has left his family in deep sorrow, and his mother, Aimee Lussier, shared a heartfelt statement describing her son as a “generous and loving kid” who was particularly close to his three younger brothers.
Lussier expressed the pain of losing her son, who she said was known for his affectionate nature and “gave the best hugs.” She recounted how he would always respond to their declarations of love by saying, “I love you more.”
The agony of his murder has been unbearable for the family, made even more difficult by the lack of answers about who committed the crime and why. Authorities are urging anyone with information about Mowry’s murder to come forward.
