Heather Alyse Olivier obituary, death, a 33-year-old resident of Church Point, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 12:42 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette. Her sudden passing has had a profound impact on her family and the community.
Funeral services for Heather will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Duhon Funeral Home in Church Point. Deacon Byrne Winn will officiate the service, and burial will follow at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
Heather is survived by her husband and three sons, Greyson, Gavin, and Gunner Andrus, all of Church Point. Her parents, Mallory “T-Bird” Olivier and Patricia L. Olivier, also of Church Point, mourn her passing. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Ethan Olivier, and his wife, Kristina, of Carencro; Brad Andrus of Church Point; and her paternal grandmother, Versie Olivier, also of Church Point.
A large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins will also mourn Heather’s passing and remember her memory. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Richard Olivier, and maternal grandparents, Hollace and Roberta Leger, as well as her uncle, Rick Olivier.
The family requests visitation at the chapel of the Duhon Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service. Members of Heather’s family will be present during the visitation.
The community is invited to join the family in celebrating Heather’s life and providing support during this difficult time. The funeral service will provide an opportunity for loved ones, friends, and family members to receive one another and express their condolences.
Heather’s passing has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and community.
