JC Adame obituary, death, a dedicated employee and father of four, tragically passed away in a shipyard accident at the General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) on Monday. His family and coworkers are left to grapple with the circumstances surrounding his death.

Adame’s daughter, Isabelle, expressed the family’s grief and frustration, seeking answers about the accident. She spoke with FOX 5 and KUSI at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary, sharing the family’s pain and confusion.

Isabelle recounted how Adame’s coworkers heroically tried to lift the heavy machinery off of him in a desperate attempt to save his life. She emphasized the impact her father had on those around him, saying, “I know he will be missed and loved.”

However, the lack of detailed information from NASSCO has left the family feeling angered and disheartened. Isabelle revealed that they first learned about the incident from one of Adame’s friends, not from the company.

She waited at the shipyard for hours on Monday with little to no information about her father’s condition. Isabelle questioned how such a tragic accident could have occurred, especially given her father’s commitment to safety throughout his long tenure at NASSCO.

In a statement, NASSCO confirmed the loss of their employee but refrained from providing further details, citing an ongoing investigation. The company expressed their deepest sympathies to the family and the entire NASSCO team.

Isabelle remains skeptical, noting that her father was always diligent about following safety protocols. She insisted that there must be more to the story, saying, “So for them to say an accident would happen, something is not right. I want answers. I know that it wasn’t my daddy. There’s no way. There’s no way.”

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Harbor Police are currently investigating the incident. NASSCO has indicated that a full incident report is expected within the next six months.

As the investigation continues, the Adame family, along with the NASSCO community, mourns the loss of a beloved father, grandfather, and colleague. JC Adame’s legacy and commitment to safety will not be forgotten.

The family and coworkers of JC Adame seek justice and answers in the wake of this tragic accident. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the lessons he taught about the importance of safety in the workplace.
