It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lyle J Pelke, a cherished member of our Whitetail Golf Course family. Lyle passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, August 2, 2024. His absence leaves a profound void in our community, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and condolences we have received over the past few days. Your kind words and gestures have provided much-needed comfort to Lyle’s family and friends during this difficult time.
In honor of Lyle’s life and legacy, a church service will be held on Friday, August 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie at 11 AM. This will be an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to come together and celebrate Lyle’s life.
Following the church service, we will host a Celebration of Life at Whitetail Golf Course from 2 PM to 6 PM. This gathering will allow us to share memories, offer support, and honor the impact Lyle had on our lives.
Please note that the golf course will remain open on Friday, August 9. However, our Friday Night Fish Fry will be canceled in respect of the Celebration of Life for Lyle. We appreciate your understanding and support as we adjust our schedule during this time of mourning.
