A 2017 Chevy Sonic traveling south on Route 301 collided with the driver’s side of the Toyota. The sole occupant of the Chevy, Caitlynn Connell, 28, from King George, Virginia, was also airlifted by Maryland State Police helicopter to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration provided assistance with road closures, which remained in effect for several hours.
