Ruth Ann Heacock, a resident of Marcus Hook, PA, passed away on July 22, 2024, at Crozer Chester Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 82 years old. Born in Upland, PA, and raised in Trainer, PA, Ruth Ann spent her life dedicated to her family, faith, and community.

Ruth Ann graduated from Eddystone High School in 1959 and went on to build a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She was an active member of Trainer United Methodist Church, where she found solace and community. Her passions included needlework, reading, and camping, which brought her joy and peace.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Helen Myers, as well as her husband, Raleigh “Bye” Heacock Jr., who passed away in 2021. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she will be deeply missed by her two sons, Randy (Donna) Heacock and Barry (Beatrice) Heacock, along with her four grandchildren: Heather, Zachary, Bradley, and Brandon.

A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, located at 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. Following the visitation, funeral services will commence at 10:00 AM, celebrating Ruth Ann’s life and legacy. She will be laid to rest at Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills, PA.

Ruth Ann’s impact on her community will not be forgotten. Her dedication to her faith and family was inspiring, and her love for her grandchildren was unwavering. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
