Leslie Vicente Vicente Obituary, Death; – A deceased woman, identified as 19-year-old Leslie Vicente Vicente, was discovered on Wednesday evening outside Fort Lupton. The Greeley Police Department stated that the body and vehicle were found in a body of water near U.S. 85 and Weld County Road 22, approximately 5 miles north of Fort Lupton. A nearby gravel quarry employee alerted authorities after noticing signs of a submerged vehicle. The news release does not mention any suspicions of foul play or specify the exact body of water where the vehicle was located. Both Greeley and Fort Lupton police, along with dive team members from the Greeley Fire Department and the Fort Lupton Fire Protection District, responded to the scene. The dive team successfully recovered the woman’s body, who was the sole occupant of the submerged vehicle. The Weld County coroner identified the woman as Vicente Vicente and informed her next of kin. Vicente Vicente had traveled to Greeley on June 13 for a religious event at Island Grove Regional Park and was last seen at a gas station on 42nd Street in Evans.
