Sarah dedicated twelve of her sixteen years to her studies and was a beauty queen who had received numerous awards. She was also skilled in tumbling and had a passion for theater, actively participating in the Locust Grove High School Thespian Club and the Locust Grove Varsity Gymnastics competitions. Her love for the performing arts and her bright smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Dr. Bobby Shane Brooks and Jill Williamson Brooks, her older brother Leviticus Shane Brooks, known as “Bubba,” and several family members, including uncles, aunts, and cousins. She will be laid to rest next to her late grandfather, Eddie T. Brooks, also known as “Papaw Eddie,” and her grandparents Judy Williamson, the late Jackie and Diane Williamson, Sylvia Lockridge, and the late Bill Lockridge.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, GA. A Celebration of Sarah’s Life will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Turning Point Church in McDonough, GA. Sarah’s final resting place will be at Historic Red Oak Church in Covington, GA, formerly known as Red Oak United Methodist Church.
