Eric Driscoll, a loving husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, at the age of 29, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Born on May 14, 1995, in Media, Pennsylvania, Eric was a cherished member of his family, loved by his parents, Michael and Joanne Driscoll, and siblings, Brendan, Jack, Maggie, and Colin.
Eric was a talented athlete, excelling in both baseball and football at Delaware County Christian School. He proudly served his country, graduating from Paris Island Boot Camp and Camp LeJeune, where he completed his MOS Training as a combat engineer. Eric’s military service and civilian life were marked by his dedication, self-control, and camaraderie, touching lives as a Case Manager at CIC Insurance.
A man of many passions, Eric loved spending time with his family, cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, and playing golf with a sense of rivalry and joy. His infectious enthusiasm, kind demeanor, and willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Eric’s family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and mourn his passing, remembering his bravery, generosity, and zest for life. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, and his memory will be a ray of hope and resilience for future generations.
Funeral services will be held at The DellaVecchia, Smith, Boyd, Reilly Funeral Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with visitation on Friday, July 19, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Oaklands Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
