The crash involved a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Christopher Joeckel, and a 2009 Nissan Versa. Preliminary investigations indicate that the Nissan Versa, traveling north on Orchard Road, attempted a left turn onto Sullivan Road. At the same time, Christopher Joeckel was riding his motorcycle south on Orchard Road. Regrettably, he was unable to stop in time to avoid colliding with the Nissan as it completed its turn.
