The Richland County Sheriff’s Department reported that they were called to the 300 block of Hickory Ridge Dr. after 10 p.m. following a report of gunfire.
Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle in the front yard of a residence with two unresponsive individuals inside. Deputies also found another person inside the home who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds but was not believed to be in critical condition. This individual was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Upon the arrival of the Columbia-Richland Fire Department and EMS, it was determined that the two individuals found in the car had both succumbed to their injuries. Deputies also located several shell casings along the roadway while examining the scene.
