Jeremy Vance Randolph, a 44-year-old National Guard member from Dallas, has tragically lost his life in a fatal collision on Highway US 277 near mile marker 580, 24 miles north of Eagle Pass in Maverick County. The devastating incident occurred on July 2 at approximately 1:15 p.m.
According to initial reports from the Department of Public Safety (DPS), Randolph was driving a 2019 white Ford van southbound on US 277 when it collided with a 2019 red Ford F-350 truck traveling north. The F-350 truck veered into the opposite lane after its front left tire blew out, resulting in the tragic collision.
Sadly, Randolph sustained severe injuries and was pronounced deceased at Fort Duncan Hospital in Eagle Pass. The driver of the F-350 truck and two passengers were transported to Fort Duncan Medical Center in Eagle Pass for medical attention.
