Simran Shiuagani Mala, Jamie William Pitman Obituary – Police have officially identified the individuals who lost their lives in the Malaghans Road crash on Thursday as Simran Shiuagani Mala, 25, and Jamie William Pitman, 35, both residents of Frankton, Queenstown.
During this tragic time, our condolences go out to their loved ones,” stated a police representative. “The Serious Crash Unit was present, and the investigation into the circumstances of the crash is still ongoing.”
At 10pm, emergency services, including three ambulances, a helicopter, and local fire crews, arrived at the scene.
Simran Mala and Jamie Pitman, believed to be a couple, were discovered deceased at the location, between Dalefield Road and Hunter Road. Five others sustained injuries.
The collision involved two vehicles, one of which was a van from the nearby Millbrook golf resort, but the deceased were in the other vehicle.
