Sean K. Smeeden Obituary: Police identify man killed at TriMet MAX platform, seek public assistance

Sean K. Smeeden Obituary

The deceased individual discovered last Thursday on the TriMet MAX platform at North Interstate Avenue and North Prescott Street has been identified by Portland Police as 39-year-old Sean K. Smeeden of Portland.

Smeeden was found by officers around 8:30 p.m. in response to a shooting report. The medical examiner has confirmed that Smeeden’s cause of death was homicide due to a gunshot wound.

At the time of the incident, there were no TriMet trains or buses in the vicinity.

Smeeden’s family has been informed of his passing.
