Jean Brewster, a kind and compassionate soul, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Carroll Village in Dillsburg, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service to others.
Jean was born on November 24, 1940, in Passaic, New Jersey, to the late Anita (Flynn) and Eugene F. Brush. She spent her life spreading joy and kindness, and her love for the outdoors and animals was evident in her volunteer work with the horses at Leg Up Farm.
Jean retired from Janney Montgomery Scott, Inc. Financial Advisors, and spent her golden years cherishing time with her friends and family. Her grandson, Kyle Brewster, was the apple of her eye, and she was proud to be his grandmother.
Jean’s love for her family was unwavering, and she was a devoted partner to the late Carol Rice. Her siblings, Gerard Brush and his wife Lillian, and Susan Farley and her husband Thomas, will deeply miss her. Although her son Christopher Brewster predeceased her, Jean continued to celebrate his life and memory.
