Ronald Steele Obituary,
The Cincinnati Police Department reported that a shooting incident in Mount Airy on Wednesday afternoon resulted in one fatality and another individual sustaining injuries. The deceased individual was identified as 33-year-old Ronald Steele.
The suspect, 23-year-old Jonah Hundley, has been apprehended by CPD in connection with the shooting. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the 4900 block of Hawaiian Terrace.
Upon arrival at the scene, CPD officers discovered Steele with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Another victim, who had been shot in the leg, was found and self-transported to Mercy West Hospital.
CPD confirmed that the individual is currently in stable condition. The motive behind the shooting has not been disclosed by the police.
Hundley has been formally charged with murder and felonious assault, and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. CPD urges anyone with relevant information to contact its Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542.
