Dom Ward Obituary, Death; – The football player for New Standard Academy, 15-year-old Dom Ward, was identified as one of the two teenagers shot and killed on Flint’s north side early Wednesday.
The other boy, a 13-year-old, has not been named by the Flint Police Department. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The incident is believed to be linked to a shootout on Hilton Lane in the Beecher area, where 17-year-old Kamari Lindsey died.
Another 17-year-old victim, who underwent surgery for gunshot wounds, remains hospitalized. An 18-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the Beecher shootout, but his identity has not been disclosed.
Details about the double homicide on Banbury Place are scarce, while Mt. Morris Township police provided information about the Hilton Lane incident.
Several persons of interest related to the Beecher shootout are being sought by authorities. No suspect information has been released by Flint police regarding the Banbury Place shooting.
