David Young Obituary, – The Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office has officially arrested and charged Terry Houston, 62, in connection with the murder of a 72-year-old man in DeRidder.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, Houston was taken into custody following the incident.
Deputies were called to the scene on Tabernacle Road after a man was found dead in his home.
Upon arrival, they discovered David Young, 72, with signs of blunt force trauma and stabbing injuries. Through interviews and evidence collection, investigators determined that Houston had an altercation with Young that resulted in his death.
Houston has been booked into the Beauregard Parish Jail on charges of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with additional information is urged to contact the authorities at 337-436-3281.
