Ajay Simpson Obituary – A fatal shooting that occurred in North York late on Monday night has claimed the life of a young man from Toronto, aged 20.
According to a statement on X, formerly Twitter, law enforcement officers were alerted to the incident after receiving reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Jane Street and Falstaff Avenue shortly before midnight.
The victim, identified as Ajay Simpson, was swiftly rushed to the hospital in an emergency run due to critical life-threatening injuries, as confirmed by paramedics to the Star.
Tragically, he was later pronounced dead. The police have revealed that four individuals, each armed with handguns, emerged from a white SUV and discharged multiple rounds.
At the crime scene, evidence markers were visible near a building, while the area surrounding the shooting was cordoned off with police tape.
