Jasmine Elizabeth Anderson Obituary, – A woman was killed in a shooting incident that occurred early Thursday morning, according to the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office. The victim, identified as Jasmine Elizabeth Anderson, was shot at her residence in the Dorchester Manor subdivision.
Deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office were on patrol in the Ashley Phosphate Road and Dorchester Manor area when they heard what they believed to be multiple gunshots at around 2:47 a.m. Shortly after, they received information about a man with a gunshot wound on Ashley Phosphate Road.
The injured man informed deputies that the shooting took place at a home on Dorchester Manor Boulevard. Upon entering the residence, Anderson’s lifeless body was discovered.
The coroner officially pronounced her dead at 5:16 a.m. An autopsy will be conducted on Friday at MUSC, as confirmed by Coroner Paul Brouthers. The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made at this time.
