Demarion Jovan Raggs Obituary
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 13-year-old boy who was tragically shot and killed on the West Side last week as Demarion Jovan Raggs.
The incident occurred on Friday, June 14 at around 8:30 p.m. when the teen was standing on a sidewalk on South Independence Boulevard near West 13th Street and was shot in the head.
Despite being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, he was later pronounced dead. To gather more information about the incident, the Chicago police have released videos and photos of three individuals who they believe may be connected to the shooting.
These individuals were captured walking down a street and at a gas station near the scene of the crime.
