Thomas Blackmon Obituary: Police identify man fatally shot in Lansing on Saturday.

Thomas Blackmon Obituary – The victim of the fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday night in southwest Lansing has been identified as Thomas Blackmon, aged 35.

The incident took place around 10 p.m. in the 4000 block of MacDougal Circle, close to the junction of Waverly and Jolly roads, according to the Lansing police. Blackmon was declared deceased at a hospital following the shooting.

Authorities have stated that the shooting was targeted and not a random occurrence. As of Monday afternoon, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Blackmon’s death marks the ninth violent fatality in Lansing this year. The most recent incident prior to this occurred on May 27 in Rotary Park, where a total of seven individuals were shot.
