Philip Joseph Kitten Obituary
Philip Joseph Kitten has been identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety as the man who tragically lost his life in a crop-duster airplane crash in Cochran County. The individual who sustained injuries has been identified as Jeremy Deshawn Williams.
Emergency services were initially alerted to the crash site near County Road 235 and Highway 114 at approximately 8:38 a.m. on Friday morning.
As per the Cochran County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred between two air tractors that were engaged in spraying activities within a cotton field. Following the collision, a fire broke out, as reported by the National Transportation Safety Board.
DPS has confirmed that Kitten was pronounced deceased at the scene, while Williams was injured and subsequently transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
The NTSB has stated that an investigator will soon conclude the documentation of the crash site and the examination of the aircraft involved.
