Diego Herrera-Mejia, Isaac Rodriguez Obituary – Milwaukee officials have released the identities of the victims involved in the tragic incidents that occurred over the weekend.
The two teenagers who lost their lives in a shooting on Saturday evening have been identified as Diego Herrera-Mejia, aged 16, and Isaac Rodriguez, aged 15.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene, while Herrera-Mejia succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Additionally, a 14-year-old sustained non-fatal injuries during the same incident. Furthermore, the four-year-old child who was struck and killed by a car at McGovern Park on Sunday evening has been identified as Marquell Roby-Holmes.
It is worth noting that there was an initial error in reporting the child’s age, which was incorrectly stated as two years old.
Tragically, these incidents highlight the pressing issue of vehicle-related fatalities in Milwaukee County, with 35 reported so far this year, the highest in the state.
