Candido Noe Rojas Rojas Obituary: Takoma Park man identified as victim in deadly hit-and-run

Candido Noe Rojas Rojas Obituary – A man from Takoma Park has been identified as the victim of a hit-and-run incident on June 3rd. Candido Noe Rojas Rojas, 42, was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle on University Boulevard East.

He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Takoma Park officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a man with head injuries lying in the roadway near Anne Street.

Rojas was found in the eastbound lanes and was transported to the hospital. An autopsy confirmed that his injuries were likely caused by a vehicle.

Detectives have determined that Rojas was hit by a westbound vehicle that fled the scene into Prince George’s County.

The vehicle in question is believed to be a dark-colored Chevrolet Silverado 1500 from the model years 2014-2017, potentially with minor damage on the left side.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
