Sergio Prieto Death
Two men were discovered deceased in Brooklyn in separate occurrences within two days, as per the authorities.
On Wednesday, at approximately 8:30 a.m., law enforcement found an unresponsive 50-year-old man lying on the grass in front of 44 Street and 6th Avenue in Sunset Park.
The victim, identified as Sergio Prieto, was declared dead at the location. The subsequent day, at around 3:50 a.m., a 61-year-old man was found unresponsive lying on a blanket on the sidewalk near 112 Watkins St. in Brownsville. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the man has not been disclosed as the authorities are in the process of notifying the family.
The city’s medical examiner will ascertain the cause of death in both instances, and an investigation is currently ongoing.
