John M. Wenzel Death: Man killed in Beadle County motorcycle crash identified

The individual who lost their life in a solo car accident near Bonilla, South Dakota on June 7 has been identified by authorities.

According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the deceased is John M. Wenzel, a 66-year-old who was riding a motorcycle heading south on US 281.

Wenzel veered onto the southbound shoulder, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle and ultimately end up in the west ditch.

Despite being transported to a hospital, Wenzel was pronounced dead. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
