Anthony Allen Obituary,
A 59-year-old man was killed Sunday in a collision with a tractor-trailer in Northport. Police on Monday identified the fatality victim as Anthony Allen. He lived in Northport.
The crash happened at 5:17 p.m. in the 6800 block of McFarland Boulevard. Assistant Police Chief Keith Carpenter said the crash involved a Ford Mustang, a Honda Accord and the tractor-trailer.
Allen was driving the Mustang and was exiting from Green Village Trailer Park onto McFarland Boulevard when he was struck by the oncoming tractor-trailer that was traveling westbound on McFarland Boulevard. Allen was pronounced dead on the scene.
The tractor-trailer then collided with the Honda Accord. The driver and a passenger in the car sustained minor injuries.
The crash is being investigated by Northport Police Department Traffic Reconstruction Unit. No criminal charges are pending, Carpenter said.
