Sean Flaherty was a proud graduate of Stow and Walsh University, where he played football under the guidance of the esteemed former Walsh coach Jim Dennison.

He began his coaching career as an assistant at Stow before joining the Wadsworth High School football program. For the last three years, he served as the offensive coordinator under head coach Greg Dennison, son of his former coach, Jim Dennison.
