Amanda Upshaw,Roger Pendleton Obituary
The two individuals who lost their lives in a collision on Thursday have been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Amanda Upshaw, aged 32, and Roger Pendleton, aged 51, both succumbed to blunt force trauma resulting from the crash.
The incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. near Iroquois High School, specifically in the vicinity of Taylor Boulevard and Arling Avenue. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), Pendleton was operating the vehicle while Upshaw was a passenger.
LMPD reports that a pickup truck turned in front of the motorcycle, leading to the collision. Pendleton was pronounced deceased at the scene, while Upshaw was transported to a nearby hospital where she later passed away.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and did not sustain any injuries, as confirmed by the police. LMPD has stated that no charges are anticipated in relation to this incident. The investigation is being handled by LMPD’s Traffic Unit.
