Tragedy struck Goldsboro on Friday as one person was fatally shot at the Food Lion on East Ash Street (1809 E. Ash St.).
Goldsboro police assure the public there’s no ongoing threat, and they’re investigating the incident.
Witnesses reported, and city officials along with Goldsboro police confirmed, a shooting death just before 2 pm at the Food Lion on Ash Street. The victim was allegedly shot by a juvenile suspect.
