Ozell Shepherd Obituary
Portland Police Bureau (PPB) has identified the man who was fatally shot on May 4 in the Wilkes neighborhood as 34-year-old Ozell Shepherd.
The incident took place in the 15700 block of Northeast Beech Street at 5 a.m. when officers responded to a shooting report.
Upon arrival, they discovered the victim in the street, and paramedics confirmed his death at the scene. The suspect or suspects had already fled the area before the authorities were notified, and no arrests have been made yet.
As part of the investigation, Northeast Beech Street is temporarily closed between Northeast 156th Avenue and Northeast 158th Avenue.
