Last Saturday, a tragic incident occurred in Nashville when a teenage girl lost her life in an ATV collision on Darbytown Drive. The collision involved a Honda ATV driven by a 14-year-old girl and a Jeep Patriot, according to the Nashville Police Department.
The ATV riders were not wearing helmets when they crashed into the side of the Jeep, resulting in both the driver and her passenger being taken to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
Unfortunately, the passenger, identified as 14-year-old Melanie Mozqueda, passed away due to her injuries, while the driver sustained minor injuries. Investigations revealed that none of the parties involved were intoxicated during the crash.
