The individual, 24-year-old Anthony Vaughn, suspected of fatally shooting Euclid Police officer Jacob Derbin, was found and subsequently shot and killed by law enforcement personnel in Shaker Heights.
A SWAT team has been deployed to an apartment complex in Shaker Heights, with a significant police presence now evident at the location.
Our observation of the scene on Van Aken Boulevard, east of Lee Road, occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Around 2:10 p.m., we witnessed SWAT officers donning helmets and shields before entering the apartment complex.
U.S. Marshals, along with numerous officers from various law enforcement agencies across Northeast Ohio, are present at the scene.

According to a statement from Euclid Police, officers were summoned to the 300 block of East 211th Street to address the disturbance shortly before 9 p.m.
While conducting the investigation, the suspect launched a surprise attack on an officer, resulting in the officer being shot, as outlined in the statement.
Officer Derbin was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
